The filmmaker is in Spatharaioi, a mountainous village of Samos.
The film opens with two children getting out of a house, dressed in traditional costumes. The lens stays on the children and then shows us footage from the March 25th parade with the boys and the girls dressed in traditional costumes. The parade continues with a group of men holding rifles. We see them marching in a circle and afterwards, the camera focuses on a chanting priest.
The filmmaker get back to the parade and he also shows us the people who have gathered to watch it. A brief shot of an elderly man and the recording of the parade continues with a group of women in traditional costumes dancing. As the shot opens we see that a group of children are dancing at the same time as the women.
The film closes with a family walking through the village’s streets and posing for the camera
