Georgios Angelakis was born in 1928 in the village of Spatharaoi, Samos island, in Greece.
He was a law student at the University of Athens but did not graduate because at the same time he enlisted in the gendarmerie in the period 1948-1955.
In 1956 he moved to Kolwezi, Congo and worked in a shop. At the same time he had a farm with cows. He was self-taught in the musical instrument Accordion. He also learned electronic construction by correspondence from Belgium.
He was president of the Greek Community in Kolwezi in Congo and had an active participation in the construction of the church of Saint George in Kolwezi.
He died in 1975 in Kolwezi.
