Description
Volos is a coastal port city in Thessaly and is built at the innermost point of the Pagasetic Gulf and at the foot of Mount Pelion.
We see an open air farmers market and a building where administrative services of the Municipality of Volos are housed. Back to the port, a bunch of anchored boats, fishermen discuss and clean their nets as a large boat enters the port. Views from the customs building.
A sign with the Centaur - a symbol for the area, as according to mythology in Pelion lived the Centaurs, who were creatures from Greek mythology with the upper body of a human and the lower body and legs of a horse.
