Description
We are located on the coastal Poseidonos avenue, on a bus of the company owned by Stavros Niarchos, which operated the first hydrofoil ship "Express", operating the route Piraeus (Pasalimani) - Hydra - Spetses - Nafplion.
As we approach Piraeus, the largest port in Greece, in the background we distinguish the hill and the settlement of Kastella.
We are in the circular Port of Zea or Pasalimani, the second largest port of Piraeus. A woman and a little girl with their toy bucket go down the stairs to the pier, in order to board on the hydrofoil "Express".
The boat sails away and the filmmaker gives us a panoramic view of the harbor, where we see other smaller and larger boats that are moored, a part of the area’s urban construction on the shoreline, a concrete signal and lighting between the harbor channels that are used by the boats as well as the speedboat’s large wake.
