Description
We are in the port of Piraeus, the largest port in Greece.

The first shot is from a gas station. We see a man in his car, who then buys a newspaper from the newsagent.

The filmmaker boards on the ship “Agia Kyriaki” that was bound for Aegina, an island in the Saronic Gulf.

We are on the ship’s deck and in the background we watch the departure of the nearby ship, named "Neraida" heading to the other islands of the Saronic Gulf, Methana and Poros. The "Neraida" departs from the port with its decks being crowded.

The filmmaker and his friends talk while they‘re waiting for their journey to begin, as another ship departs for the Saronic islands.

The ship sails and we see the dock moving away, a family looks at the sea and a fisherman goes in the opposite direction with his small wooden boat, we also see the bow passing by the lighthouse that marks the ship’s exit from the port. One more man is filming the ship’s departure.

In the next shot, we see the captain in the ship’s bridge and then mothers with small children in their arms, sitting on the deck benches. Someone is reading the newspaper "To Vima", while we watch a woman’s face with big round glasses and a straw hat who stands in front of him.

On the way, we come across with one more passenger ship, the "Kamelia", which was the first ship of this size that was built in a Greek shipyard and then we see the flags of the ship we are on.

Next follow shots of the passengers, the Greek flag at the stern and the swarm of gulls that follow the ship.

Lastly, another filmmaker is at the same spot while a smaller boat passes by.
