Description
We are in Distomo, a semi-mountainous town in the prefecture of Boeotia.

The film opens with a series of lambs on a spit-roasting during the Easter, according to the custom, in which in many villages of Greece lambs are set up on Easter day for the whole village and people gather around. The filmmaker shows us the lambs with a close-up shot and then the table that has been set up for the feast as well as two musicians, one with a clarinet and one with an accordion who play music. Some people are near the spit-roasting, some dance traditional Greek dance.

People drink and have fun and the camera focuses on a family with two small children who enjoy the event. The man holds one of them in his arms and shows him the camera. The camera goes back to the almost cooked lambs and the tables that have been set up as well as the citizens of all ages who have gathered for the celebration. We see close-ups of people roasting and the lambs.

The film closes with people dancing to the sounds of the clarinet and the davul (a large double-headed drum that is played with mallets), a man who gives money to the musician with the clarinet to "order" a song, as a Greek custom, and the celebration continues.
