The film opens with views of the Kura River at dusk with Georgia's capital, Tbilisi as a background.
The scenery changes and now the lens captures images through the old town: picturesque houses with wooden balconies, neoclassical buildings, cobbled downhill streets and the daily life of the people who live in it.
The afternoon finds us in Mtskheta, a town that is located approximately 20 kilometres (12 miles) north of Tbilisi.
Views from the dome of the Sioni Cathedral that is in honor of Santa Nina, the Georgian Jvari Monastery which was built on the rocky mountaintop and the film closes with views from the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral which was built in 1029 and for thousands of years has been one of the principal Georgian Orthodox churches in the region.
